Lateral Partner — Corporate, M&A & Private Equity — New Jersey

Established national firm seeks a lateral partner to lead and grow its corporate practice in New Jersey, with a primary focus on M&A and private equity transactions. The role will support cross-practice work involving life sciences, energy and corporate governance matters.

The partner will handle complex transactional matters, develop and maintain client relationships, and work closely with an existing team of transactional and industry-focused lawyers. This is an opportunity for a rainmaker or experienced originator to expand a portable practice in a collaborative platform.

• Proven partner-level transactional experience in M&A and private equity, including lead deal execution.
• Sector experience in life sciences and/or energy preferred.
• Track record of client origination and ability to grow a portable practice.
• Experience managing teams and mentoring junior lawyers on complex transactions.
• J.D., active bar admission and standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
