Lateral Partner, Corporate / M&A — San Francisco

A top-tier US law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its San Francisco corporate practice focused on mergers & acquisitions and transactional work. The role will involve leading deal teams, advising strategic and private equity clients, and originating complex corporate transactions.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, full-service platform with national and international M&A capabilities. This is a visible role with opportunities to grow a portable practice and contribute to business development across the firm’s corporate group.

• Proven partner-level M&A / transactional experience (senior associate to partner background acceptable)
• Demonstrated ability to originate and manage complex corporate transactions
• Track record of business development and client relationship cultivation; portable practice preferred
• Strong leadership, client management and team mentoring skills
