Senior hire opportunity with a well-established Toronto law firm seeking a partner to join its Corporate/M&A and Securities practice. The firm is making opportunistic hires and is open to experienced laterals who can grow a mid‑market transactional practice and contribute to firm business development.

Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial, commercially minded corporate lawyers with experience in M&A, public or private securities/finance transactions, and general corporate advisory work. A portable practice is preferred but exceptional candidates without a full book of business will be considered.

Established partner-level experience in M&A and/or securities transactions (public or private finance).
Track record of originating or growing a mid‑market corporate practice and comfortable with business development responsibilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work collaboratively with existing deal teams.
Preferred: a portable practice or demonstrable business generation potential; exceptional laterals without a full book may be considered.
