Lateral Partner, Corporate (M&A) — Toronto

Senior corporate partner sought for a Toronto-based office to join a well-regarded corporate practice. The role focuses on traditional corporate commercial work with a strong emphasis on M&A; the team handles both targeted transactional mandates and broader corporate advisory matters.

The firm is looking for a partner with a portable practice who can originate and grow client relationships on the platform. Candidates should be entrepreneurial, comfortable leading transactions and teams, and able to contribute to business development and practice growth.

• Established partner with a portable book of business appropriate for a lateral placement (portable practice required).
• Deep experience in M&A and corporate commercial transactions.
• Proven track record of client origination and business development.
• Ability to lead deal teams and mentor junior lawyers; strong commercial judgment and client-facing skills.
• Licensed to practise in Ontario (or eligible) and able to work from the Toronto office.
