Lateral Partner — Corporate / M&A (US principal) — National (preference for NY / Bay Area)

Leading international law firm seeks an equity-level lateral (Principal) to accelerate transactional growth across the firm’s US platform. The role is focused on corporate work — M&A, private equity and capital markets — with responsibility for originating and managing complex cross-border deals.

Successful candidates will bring a portable book of business and a demonstrated track record of originating sizable transactional matter flow. The team is prioritizing senior laterals to support elevated partner compensation and business development objectives. Commercial litigation experience is of interest in select markets; white-collar and North American restructuring are not current priorities.

• Equity-level lateral (Principal) — proven portable client relationships and demonstrated origination history
• Significant senior transactional experience in M&A, private equity and/or capital markets
• Strong leadership skills, ability to manage and grow a US practice across multiple offices
• Authorized to practice in the United States and able to work from one of the firm's US offices (open to candidates across major US cities; priority for New York and Bay Area)
