Lateral Partner — Corporate / M&A, Washington, D.C.

Seeking a lateral partner to join a national corporate practice in Washington, D.C., with a focus on M&A, cross-border and domestic transactional work, and corporate governance. The role involves leading deals, advising boards and senior management, and managing teams on complex transactions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across U.S. offices, help grow the corporate/M&A bench locally, and contribute to business development initiatives. Portable client relationships or a demonstrable ability to originate work are valued.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission or eligibility for admission in D.C.
• Established partner-level experience handling M&A and complex corporate transactions.
• Proven track record of leading deal teams and advising on corporate governance matters.
• Demonstrable business development ability; portable client relationships or a visible origination record preferred.
