Top-tier corporate practice in Washington, D.C. is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow M&A and emerging-growth transactions. The role will sit on the firm’s Corporate team and work on a mix of buy- and sell-side deal work for private company and growth-oriented clients.

The firm is looking for a partner with an established, portable practice and demonstrable client relationships. This is a partner-track opportunity with a clear progression toward equity partnership for the right candidate.

  • Proven partner- or senior-level M&A experience, including transactions for emerging-growth and startup clients
  • Established, portable book of business and a track record of client origination
  • Strong technical drafting and deal management skills across buy- and sell-side matters
  • Bar admission or eligibility in D.C.; excellent business development and relationship-management abilities
