Lateral Partner — Corporate / M&A, Washington, D.C.

Senior corporate lawyer sought to join a global law firm’s Washington, D.C. office to lead and grow an M&A and transactional practice. The role focuses on buy- and sell-side transactions, complex corporate governance matters, and lead counsel responsibilities on multi‑jurisdictional deals.

The firm is looking for a partner with an established transactional record, strong client relationships, and the ability to originate work and mentor junior lawyers. A portable practice or demonstrated business development capability is welcome.

• Established partner-level experience in M&A and corporate transactions.
• Proven track record of leading deals, managing teams, and advising on corporate governance.
• Demonstrable client development skills; portable business welcomed.
• Admission to the D.C. bar (or ability to transfer) and eligibility to practice in the U.S.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
