Leading international law firm seeks an equity lateral (Principal-level) to drive US transactional growth from senior partner seat. The role is focused on corporate transactional work — M&A, private equity and capital markets — and is intended for a partner with a proven portable practice and the ability to originate and lead high-value deals.

Primary hiring focus is in New York and the Bay Area, with flexibility for strong candidates in other US offices. The team values partners who combine deep transactional experience, client relationships, and demonstrable business development capability. Commercial litigation experience is of interest in select cases; white-collar and North America restructuring are not priorities.

Established, portable partner practice with a demonstrable book of business
Significant experience in M&A, private equity and/or capital markets transactions
Track record of originating and closing complex deals and leading deal teams
Strong business development and client relationship skills
Admitted or able to be admitted to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction(s)
