Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Toronto corporate securities team. The role focuses on advising corporate clients on securities matters and corporate governance, working on public and private transactions and ongoing SEC/US regulatory needs.

Candidates must be US-qualified lawyers who actively practise US law. The team is open to partners across seniority levels, including those considering a final move; there is flexibility on location and the firm is receptive to partners who would bring a small team.

The firm values a portable practice and strong client relationships; successful candidates will have an established securities/corporate client base and the ability to generate and manage business.

US bar qualification and active experience practicing US securities law.
Established partner-level background in corporate securities and corporate governance.
Demonstrable portable client relationships / book of business and business development capability.
Experience leading or supervising junior lawyers; open to candidates bringing a small team.
