Seeking a partner to join a major international law firm's San Francisco office to lead and expand teams across corporate, technology transactions, and healthcare/life sciences matters. The role focuses on high-value M&A and capital markets matters, emerging-growth and tech-company work, and cross-border matters handled with industry specialists.

The ideal candidate will have a portable practice or demonstrated client origination capability, experience running deal teams, and a track record advising issuers, sponsors and strategic buyers in complex transactions. The role offers support from a broad international platform across IP, litigation and finance practices.

Proven partner-level experience in M&A, capital markets and/or technology transactions, ideally with healthcare or life‑sciences sector experience.
Portable book of business or clear client origination record; ability to develop regional and sector relationships.
Experience leading deal teams and collaborating with IP, litigation and finance practices on cross-disciplinary matters.
Bar admission and eligibility to practice in California; excellent commercial judgment and client management skills.
