Leading international law firm is seeking a partner to join its Austin office to lead and grow a cross-practice corporate and technology-facing offering. The role focuses on corporate/M&A and capital markets work, with significant opportunities to advise growth-stage and technology clients and to collaborate with the firm’s IP and transactions teams.

The practice will handle a mix of M&A (including PE-related deals), issuer-side and other capital markets matters, and technology transactions; there is also scope to work on IP litigation and related transactional matters. The firm is investing in the market and looking for an experienced partner who can work across practices and develop business locally and nationally.

Partner-level track record in corporate/M&A, capital markets, technology transactions and/or IP-related work.
Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships; portable book of business or demonstrable business development capabilities preferred.
Experience leading deal teams and coordinating across practice groups (technology, IP, corporate finance).
Strong industry focus on technology, life sciences, financial services or energy advantageous but not required.
