Lateral Partner, Corporate — Washington, D.C.

Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its Washington, D.C. corporate practice. The role focuses on M&A and transactional work, corporate governance, and counseling corporate clients across regulatory-sensitive matters.

The position will involve originating and executing complex transactions, supervising deal teams, and developing business with existing and prospective clients. A portable practice or proven ability to generate and grow client relationships is welcome.

• Partner-level transactional/M&A experience; strong track record in corporate governance and deal execution
• Proven client origination and relationship-management skills; portable book of business preferred
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior lawyers on complex transactions
• Active bar admission (DC or eligible) and JD from an accredited law school
