Leading US firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice in Hartford. The role focuses on advising growth-stage companies, venture investors and entrepreneurial founders on financings, corporate formation, strategic financings and general corporate matters.

The firm is looking for a partner who can both lead transactions and help grow the local practice. This is a rainmaking role: candidates should have an established, portable practice and a track record of originating or developing VC and emerging-company work.

Established partner with significant experience advising emerging-growth companies and venture capital investors
Proven track record of originating or bringing a portable practice; business development focus
Experience with venture financings, equity incentives, corporate governance and general corporate transactions
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to transfer
