Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow an emerging companies and venture capital practice in the firm's Orange County office. The role will involve advising startups, growth-stage companies, investors and VC funds on financings, equity incentive matters, corporate governance and M&A-related transactions.

The partner will have responsibility for originating and expanding client relationships, mentoring junior lawyers, and working collaboratively across corporate and related practice groups. The firm is looking for an experienced rainmaker with an established, portable practice who can immediately contribute to business development and client work.

Proven partner-level experience advising emerging growth companies, venture capital funds and investors on financings and corporate matters
Demonstrable record of originating work and developing client relationships; portable book of business required
Strong transactional skills (seed, Series A–C financings, equity incentive plans, buy‑outs and exits)
Ability to mentor associates and collaborate across teams; excellent business development skills
Admission to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction(s)
