Leading national labor & employment practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Boston office to handle employee benefits work with an emphasis on ESOPs. The role will involve advising sponsors, plan fiduciaries, and employers on transactional and ongoing benefits matters.

The partner will collaborate with benefits and ERISA teams across multiple offices, take a prominent role on complex ESOP transactions and related compliance matters, and help grow the practice regionally and nationally. Portable business is welcome and there is opportunity to build a client base within an established platform.

  • Established partner-level experience in employee benefits and ESOP work
  • Deep technical knowledge of ERISA, tax and benefits-related transactional issues
  • Proven book-building and client-development ability; willingness to cross-sell with other practice groups
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior lawyers
  • JD and active bar admission (Massachusetts or eligibility to be admitted)
