Seeking a partner to join a national employment & labor practice in the Dallas market, focused on employee benefits and ESOP work. The role will advise employers on the full range of benefits matters, including ESOP design, compliance, and transactional/operational issues.

This is a client-facing leadership role with responsibility for originating and growing benefits work regionally and nationally. You will collaborate with colleagues across offices and support both advisory and transactional engagements for public and private employers.

  • Partner-level experience practicing employee benefits law with demonstrable ESOP experience.
  • Proven ability to originate or bring portable client relationships and to develop business further.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ERISA, tax-qualified plans, and related compliance matters.
  • Excellent client management, drafting and negotiating skills, and comfort working collaboratively across offices.
