The role combines high‑level advisory work for corporate clients with hands‑on experience structuring and implementing retirement and equity‑based plans.
The position offers opportunities to lead client engagements, work collaboratively across offices and practice groups, and develop the benefits practice in the Los Angeles market. The team advises on plan design, compliance, transactions involving employee plans, and related corporate and fiduciary issues.
- Partner-level experience advising on employee benefits matters, including ESOPs and qualified retirement plans
- Strong technical knowledge of ERISA, tax aspects of benefits, and benefits-related transactional work
- Proven client development and relationship management skills; demonstrated ability to originate and lead matters
- Bar admission in California (or ability to become admitted) and prior law firm partner experience
- Portable practice or book of business welcome
