Lateral Partner — Employee Benefits (ESOP) | San Francisco

Partner opportunity in a national practice focused on employee benefits with a strong ESOP capability. The role will sit in the San Francisco office and will work across offices on complex benefit plan design, compliance, and transactional matters.

The firm is seeking a partner to grow and lead ESOP and broader employee benefits work — advising sponsors, boards and employers on plan structuring, fiduciary matters, and integration with corporate transactions. This role offers responsibility for originating and developing client relationships and mentoring associates.

• Proven partner-level experience in employee benefits, with demonstrable ESOP work.
• Admission to the California bar (or ability to become admitted).
• Track record of business development and client relationship management; openness to bringing a portable practice or developing one.
• Experience supervising teams and mentoring junior lawyers; strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
