Apply in confidence →A well-established international firm is seeking an experienced employment partner to join its Berlin office as a replacement for a partner who will retire at the end of 2025. The role will lead and grow the firm's employment & labor capability in Germany, advising on both contentious and advisory matters.
Work will cover individual employment disputes and litigation, collective labour matters, restructurings and redundancies, HR advisory, contracts and policy work, and cross-border employment issues. The role requires a market-facing lawyer able to handle complex mandates and coordinate with international teams.
The firm is looking for a partner with a portable practice or established client relationships who can step into a leadership role, manage and develop a small team, and drive business development in the German market.
- Qualified and admitted to practise in Germany (Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin).
- Proven partner-level experience in employment & labor law, with a record of leading transactions and/or disputes.
- Portable client relationships or demonstrable business origination ability.
- Strong team leadership and client management skills; fluent German and strong English.
