Established national law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Washington, D.C. office to lead and expand an employment and labor litigation practice. The role will focus on defending and advising employers in high‑stakes workplace disputes across federal and state courts and in administrative proceedings.

Ideal candidates will have an active litigation docket, courtroom experience, and the ability to originate and manage client relationships. The firm offers a collaborative platform with national reach and resources to support growth of a portable practice.

  • Juris Doctor and active membership (or ability to obtain) in the D.C. bar
  • Proven partner-level experience in employment and labor litigation, including trials and administrative proceedings
  • Track record of originating and managing client relationships; ability to grow a portable practice
  • Strong courtroom, motion practice, and case-management skills; experience mentoring and leading teams
