Lateral Partner — Employment & Labor (Los Angeles)

Leading national law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Employment & Labor group in Los Angeles. The role focuses on employee benefits matters with a strong emphasis on ESOPs alongside traditional benefit-plan work.

The successful candidate will advise employers on the design, implementation and administration of employee benefit arrangements, including ESOP transactions and related ERISA matters. You will work with a multi-office practice that handles benefit work across industries.

There is an expectation to contribute to practice growth — candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and develop client relationships will be strongly considered.

• Established partner-level experience in employee benefits/ERISA work, including ESOP transactions
• Demonstrable record of advising on benefit-plan design, compliance and transactional matters
• Proven business development ability; portable book of business or clear origination potential preferred
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and ability to work from the Los Angeles office
