Senior hire to lead and grow an established Employment & Labor practice with close collaboration across the Tax group. This role sits in the firm's Dusseldorf office and will advise domestic and international corporate clients on advisory and contentious employment matters with significant tax law intersections.

The firm is seeking a partner-calibre lawyer who will provide technical leadership, supervise and develop associates, and contribute to business development. There is scope to shape the team’s service offering and to work on cross-practice matters with corporate and compensation teams.

Proven partner-level experience in employment law with significant exposure to tax-related issues.
Admission to practise in Germany (or equivalent) and strong German-language capability.
Track record supervising teams and delivering client-facing advice on complex matters.
Demonstrable business development ability; portable book of business welcome.
