Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice. The role focuses on senior‑level client counseling and matter leadership across energy, infrastructure and related environmental work, with opportunities to lead teams and originate or grow client engagements.

The position is location‑agnostic with a strong presence supporting clients out of the Chicago market. Candidates should be prepared to manage cross‑disciplinary projects, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to practice development and business origination.

Experienced partner with a proven track record in energy and/or environmental law (transactions, project development, regulatory or permitting work).
Demonstrated business origination or portable practice; experience developing client relationships and winning new mandates.
Law degree and admission to practice in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction; substantial senior‑level experience (partner track record).
Able to lead teams, manage matters, and collaborate across offices on cross‑border or multi‑disciplinary engagements.
