Established national law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in Detroit. The role focuses on advising energy-sector clients on environmental regulatory matters, compliance with EPA and state agencies, and transactional and policy-related issues.

The successful candidate will lead client engagements, grow a portable practice in the energy space, and work collaboratively with colleagues across practices and offices to support complex regulatory and commercial matters.

Seasoned partner-level practitioner with substantial experience in energy and environmental law.
Proven track record advising on EPA and other regulatory matters; experience in Washington, D.C. regulatory matters a plus.
Demonstrable business development ability; a portable book of business is desirable.
Strong client management, leadership, and collaborative skills; admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
