Leading national firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Houston energy team focused on regulatory and transactional matters across the energy and environmental sectors.

The role suits an experienced energy lawyer with a transactional and renewables background who can advise on regulatory issues; FERC experience is a plus. The position will work on matters spanning traditional and renewable energy projects and related environmental/regulatory compliance.

We are looking for a partner with an established, portable practice and a track record of bringing and servicing client relationships from day one.

Established partner with significant experience in energy transactions and regulatory work (including renewables)
Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships; portable practice expected
Experience with energy regulatory regimes; FERC experience preferred
Strong oral and written advocacy and client-management skills; ability to work collaboratively across practice teams
