Top-tier law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Energy and Environmental litigation team in Washington, D.C. The role will focus on high-stakes regulatory and commercial disputes in the energy and environmental sectors, working with cross-disciplinary teams on complex matters.

The successful candidate will take on a client-facing role, leading cases and supervising associates while collaborating with the firm s national practice. This is a strategic hire to bolster litigation capabilities and expand the practice s market presence in the capital.

Portable business is welcome; the firm is looking for a partner who can both originate work and integrate into existing client relationships. Competitive opportunity for partners with an established energy/environment litigation practice.

Proven partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental litigation.
Track record of leading trial and appellate matters, including supervising associate teams.
Demonstrated client development and business origination ability; portable practice welcomed.
Bar admission in D.C. or willingness to obtain admission; excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
