Lateral Partner, Energy & Environmental — Los Angeles

Senior hiring opportunity for a partner to join a global law firm’s Energy & Environmental practice in Los Angeles. The role focuses on transactional and regulatory work across renewables, energy projects and related private equity matters.

The team is particularly interested in partners who can bring a portable practice and who have experience linking energy work with private equity or regulatory matters. The role offers the chance to lead deals and develop client relationships within a well-resourced international platform.

• Established partner with a portable book of business and experience originating or leading energy-related matters.
• Track record in renewables, energy projects, regulatory work and/or working with private equity clients; candidates with combined experience across these areas preferred.
• Demonstrated team leadership and the ability to integrate with a multi-office international practice; experience bringing or managing a team is advantageous.
• Active admission to the relevant US bar and ability to practice in California (or eligibility to transfer). Strong commercial and client-management skills.
