Partner — Corporate & Intellectual Property (Los Angeles)

Well-established national firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Los Angeles office to lead and grow a transactional corporate practice with a strong intellectual property overlay. The role will focus on M&A, private equity and other corporate transactions across life sciences and energy sectors.

The position offers a platform to bring and expand a portable practice, work on cross‑disciplinary deals, and partner with teams across offices. The team handles sophisticated transactional matters for corporate and private‑equity clients and seeks a partner who can drive business development and client service.

• Proven partner-level experience in M&A and private equity transactions, ideally with IP-intensive matters.
• Experience advising life sciences and/or energy sector clients preferred.
• Demonstrated business development ability and a portable practice or established client relationships.
• Strong technical transactional skills and experience leading deal teams.
• Bar admission in California or eligibility to practice in the jurisdiction preferred.
