Leading U.S. law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in Milwaukee. The role will focus on advising energy-sector and environmental clients on regulatory, transactional and compliance matters and building a regional practice.

Candidates should be able to lead client engagements, mentor and grow a team, and contribute to business development across the firm’s industry groups. The team works on matters spanning permitting, regulatory strategy, environmental due diligence, and energy project work.

The firm is open to qualified candidates nationwide and welcomes partners with a portable practice who can bring client relationships aligned to the energy or environmental sectors.

Established partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental law (regulatory, transactional or litigation background).
Proven client-development capabilities and a track record of originating or expanding client relationships.
Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, including mentoring junior lawyers.
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to become admitted; open to candidates nationwide.
