Lateral Partner — Energy & Environmental, New York

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in New York. The role will focus on project development, energy transactions and environmental counseling across infrastructure and energy clients.

This is a partner-level role for a lawyer with a portable practice who can originate and manage client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and handle high-value, complex matters. The position is open on a location‑agile basis with a New York home office.

• Proven partner-level experience in energy, environmental, or infrastructure matters.
• Portable book of business or demonstrated origination capability.
• Strong transactional and project-development skills; experience with regulatory and environmental issues preferred.
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and ability to work from the New York office on a location‑agile basis.
