Leading regional practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Energy and Environmental team in Orange County. The role focuses on advising project developers, infrastructure owners and other energy-sector clients on regulatory, permitting and transactional issues across traditional and renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will take a client-facing leadership role, work collaboratively across practices on complex infrastructure matters, and help grow a commercial energy practice in the West Coast market. This is an opportunity for a senior lawyer with an established practice to join a well-resourced platform.

Partner-level experience in energy and/or environmental law, including permitting, regulatory counseling or project work for infrastructure and energy clients
Licensed to practice in California (or able to obtain admission)
Proven track record of business development and client relationship management; portable client base or demonstrable originations advantageous
Strong project management skills and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
