Lateral Partner — Energy & Environmental — Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Energy & Environmental practice in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on advising energy-sector clients on transactional, regulatory and compliance matters across domestic and cross-border work.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of originating and managing client relationships, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, and representing clients before regulators and stakeholders. This is a leadership role with opportunities to grow a portable practice and help shape the group's U.S. strategy.

• Established partner with significant experience in energy and/or environmental law (transactional, regulatory or compliance focus).
• Demonstrable client development and relationship management skills; ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
• Experience handling matters involving U.S. federal regulators, state agencies, or complex cross-border transactions preferred.
• Strong teamwork, business leadership and mentoring experience within a large, international practice.
