Lateral Partner — Energy & Finance (Washington, D.C.)

Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. Energy & Finance practice. The role will focus on project finance, energy-sector transactions (including oil & gas and renewables) and regulatory matters with U.S. government and public-policy intersections.

The successful candidate will lead client engagements, cultivate and expand transactional and regulatory work streams, and collaborate with cross-border teams. The firm is particularly interested in partners with an established, portable practice and the ability to bring or grow a team.

• Proven partner-level experience in energy transactions, project finance or regulatory work involving the energy sector
• Portable book of business and demonstrable client relationships; team leadership/ability to develop a practice
• Strong track record on matters with U.S. regulatory or government/public-policy elements
• Bar admission in the U.S. and experience working on cross-border matters
