Senior partner hire to join a well-established energy and infrastructure practice in Toronto. The role focuses on transactional work across energy, infrastructure and related M&A, and will contribute to growing an entrepreneurial, client-facing team.

This is a hands-on leadership role: you will work with the local corporate team to originate and execute complex transactions, help build the practice and mentor junior lawyers. The team values strategic business development and a collaborative, growth-oriented approach.

The firm seeks candidates with an established portable practice, though there may be flexibility for a strategically important hire with complementary skills or client relationships.

Partner-level track record in energy, infrastructure and related M&A transactions.
Approximately 15–20 years of relevant private practice experience or equivalent seniority.
Proven business development record and ability to bring or grow a portable practice; flexibility may be considered for uniquely strategic candidates.
Strong leadership, client-management and mentoring skills suited to a building-mode team.
