Lateral Partner — Energy, Paris

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Paris energy practice. The role is focused on cross-border energy work and will involve advising on complex projects and transactions across the region.

The team has an active pipeline of mandates across Africa and Europe; the hire should be comfortable leading matters with African energy exposure and developing client relationships in the region. This is a senior, client-facing role with responsibility for originating and supervising workstreams.

• Established partner with a portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate and bring client work.
• Proven track record on cross‑border energy matters, with substantive experience on African energy projects preferred.
• Strong leadership skills — managing teams, mentoring junior lawyers and leading client engagements.
• Commercial acumen and fluency in working with international clients and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
