Lateral Partner — Energy & Project Finance, Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. energy and projects practice. The role focuses on energy transactions and regulatory matters, with particular emphasis on project finance and renewables.

The successful candidate will lead and originate deals, advise on regulatory and government-facing issues, and work with cross‑border teams. The firm is open to candidates who can bring a portable practice and ideally a team.

• Established partner-level track record in energy, project finance and/or energy regulatory work.
• Proven ability to originate and manage significant client relationships; portable book of business preferred.
• Experience advising on government, regulatory or public-sector aspects of energy matters.
• Demonstrated team leadership and ability to work with international/transactional teams.
• Admission to practice in the U.S.; Washington, D.C. admission or willingness to transfer preferred.
