Leading law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Houston energy practice, focusing on transactional and regulatory matters across traditional and renewable energy sectors. The role combines deal work with regulatory advocacy before federal and state agencies.

The successful candidate will lead client relationships, originate new business, and mentor junior lawyers within a collaborative team. Prior experience with energy transactional work and FERC or state regulatory proceedings is highly desirable.

Established partner with significant experience in energy law — transactional and regulatory matters
Demonstrated track record of originating and growing client relationships; portable practice required
Experience with renewables and energy project work preferred; FERC or state regulatory experience a plus
Strong leadership and mentoring skills; admitted and in good standing in relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s)
