Apply in confidence →Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-regarded national practice in Dallas to lead and grow transactions and regulatory work across energy, renewable infrastructure, maritime and construction-related matters. The role will work with cross-disciplinary teams on tax, environmental and commercial aspects of complex deals and projects.
The team advises sponsors, developers and corporate clients on oil & gas and renewable energy transactions, infrastructure projects, and related tax structuring and regulatory issues. This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to originate work and shape practice strategy.
Candidates should have an established, portable practice or demonstrable origination capability in one or more of the core sectors and be comfortable coordinating multi-office, multi-practice engagements.
- Senior partner-level experience with a focus on energy, infrastructure, maritime or construction matters.
- Substantive tax experience related to energy or project structuring and transactional tax planning.
- Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships and leading deal teams.
- Experience with regulatory and commercial aspects of oil & gas and renewable energy projects.
