Lateral Partner — Energy & Tax (Palo Alto)

Seeking a partner to lead and grow an energy-oriented tax and regulatory practice from the Palo Alto office. The role will focus on renewable energy projects, gas/regulatory matters and tax aspects of maritime and construction-related transactions.

The successful candidate will join a multi-discipline team advising developers, owners and contractors on project structuring, tax planning and regulatory compliance. This is a visible role with client-facing responsibility and firm-wide collaboration across environmental and construction practices.

• Established partner-level experience in energy tax and related regulatory matters, with work on renewables and project development.
• Experience advising on maritime or construction-related tax and transactional issues preferred.
• Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice/book of business welcome.
• Bar admission in California or eligibility to practice in the state; strong technical drafting and client advisory skills.
