Apply in confidence →Seeking a partner to lead and grow a San Francisco-based energy and tax practice focused on renewable energy, energy regulatory matters and related construction and maritime work. The role combines client advisory on transactional and regulatory issues with team leadership and practice development.
The successful candidate will handle complex cross-disciplinary matters touching tax, environmental/regulatory and project/construction issues and will collaborate with national and international colleagues on large energy projects.
This is a partner-level opening; candidates with an established, portable practice and demonstrable business development capability are encouraged to apply.
- Partner-level experience with a strong focus on energy tax and related transactional work
- Experience advising on renewable energy projects, and familiarity with maritime or construction aspects of project development
- Regulatory experience in energy/gas matters and comfort working on cross-border or multi-jurisdictional matters
- Proven business development record; candidates with a portable practice/book of business preferred
- Active bar admission and ability to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
