Leading law firm in New York is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen and lead its environmental compliance and regulatory practice. The role will focus on advising clients on environmental regulatory matters, permitting, and land and natural resources issues.

Ideal candidates will have substantial partner-level experience, strong client relationships or a portable practice, and a track record of business development. Experience with CEQA and related state regulatory regimes is highly desirable.

J.D. and active admission to the New York bar (or ability to admit)
Established partner-level background in environmental law, regulatory compliance, and land/natural resources matters
Experience with CEQA or comparable state environmental review regimes preferred
Proven business development skills and demonstrated client relationships or a portable practice
Ability to lead teams, manage matters, and provide practical regulatory advice
