Lateral Partner, Environmental & Regulatory — Boston

Leading, well-established law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Environmental and Compliance & Regulatory practice in the Boston office. The role will focus on regulatory counseling and complex environmental matters, with an emphasis on land and natural resources work; CEQA experience is desirable.

The partner will advise corporate and institutional clients on environmental regulatory strategy, compliance matters and risk mitigation, and will work closely with cross-practice teams on transactional and regulatory issues. This is a visible role that requires strong technical experience and significant client-facing ability.

Candidates with an established portable practice or demonstrated business-development track record are encouraged to apply.

• Established partner-level background in environmental law, regulatory counseling and compliance matters.
• Substantive experience in land and natural resources matters; CEQA experience preferred.
• Proven client relationship and business-development skills; portable practice welcomed.
• Track record of leading matters and mentoring teams in a law firm or comparable environment.
• Active bar admission in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain admission.
