Lateral Partner — Environmental & Regulatory, Washington, D.C.

Senior hire to lead and expand an environmental and regulatory practice in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. The role will handle complex regulatory work, environmental compliance matters, and related administrative proceedings for a range of public- and private-sector clients.

We seek a lawyer with demonstrated experience on environmental law and regulatory matters — including CEQA experience where noted — who can provide legal leadership, supervise teams, and develop business in the region. The position offers a platform to grow a team and collaborate across practice groups.

• Established partner-level background in environmental and regulatory law, with litigation and/or regulatory enforcement experience.
• Experience with CEQA-related matters preferred.
• Proven record of client service, team leadership, and business development; ability to originate and grow work.
• Bar admission and good standing in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction (Washington, D.C. admission preferred or ability to admit).
• Portable client relationships or a demonstrable ability to build a book of business preferred.
