The successful candidate will advise corporate clients and executives on compensation design, incentive arrangements, severance and change-in-control matters, and compliance with ERISA, tax, and securities-related aspects of compensation. Opportunity includes leading engagements, mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to business development.
- Partner-level experience in executive compensation, employee benefits, and employment law.
- Proven track record of originating and managing client matters; a portable practice or demonstrated client-development ability preferred.
- Strong counseling and drafting skills on compensation arrangements, incentive plans, severance and related agreements, and regulatory compliance (ERISA, tax, securities).
- Admission to the D.C. bar or ability to become admitted; excellent communication and leadership skills.
