Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Finance & Banking practice in Beijing. The role focuses on advising borrowers and lenders on complex financing transactions and leading cross-border matters within an established global platform.

The successful candidate will build and run a practice in Beijing, working with partners across jurisdictions and mentoring junior lawyers. A portable practice or demonstrable client origination is welcome and will be considered in the evaluation.

Partner-level experience in finance and banking transactions (syndicated loans, project finance, acquisition finance or similar).
Proven track record of business development and client relationships; portable book of business welcome.
Experience leading deal teams and supervising associates on cross-border matters.
Admission to practice in China or eligibility to be admitted, and strong commercial judgment.
