Established national firm seeks a lateral partner to lead and grow its finance & banking practice in Chicago, with a focus on private credit and commercial lending matters.

The role will involve originating and executing complex debt financings, advising lenders and borrowers, and supervising senior associate work. The team advises across syndicated loans, asset-based lending and private credit transactions.

Ideal for a partner with an established portable practice in finance/private credit who can help expand client relationships and drive regional growth.

Proven partner-level experience in finance, banking or private credit transactions.
Track record of originating and managing complex loan financings and private credit deals.
Established market contacts and business development capability (portable practice welcomed).
Strong technical drafting, negotiation and client management skills; admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
