Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its finance and banking team in Chicago. The role will focus on lending transactions, with an emphasis on private credit and bank financing for middle-market and institutional borrowers and lenders.

The team advises on a full range of commercial finance matters, from syndicated and bilateral loans to specialty credit structures. This is an opportunity to lead matters, grow a portable practice and work with a broad, cross-practice finance platform.

Proven partner-level experience in finance and banking, with demonstrable experience in private credit and commercial lending.
Established portable practice or demonstrable origination capability preferred.
Admission to practice in Illinois (or eligible for admission) and strong US transactional track record.
Excellent client-facing, deal leadership and mentoring skills.
