Highly regarded German law firm seeks a lateral partner to strengthen its Finance & Banking and Corporate teams in Berlin. The role will focus on asset and investment management mandates, advising institutional and private clients on transactional and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative practice with cross‑practice support and existing client work in Germany and internationally. This is an opportunity to take a leading role in business development and help shape the practice’s growth in the region.

Established partner‑level experience in finance/banking and corporate work, with a focus on asset or investment management.
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable book of business desirable.
Admitted to practice in Germany (or equivalent) and fluent in German and English.
Strong commercial judgment, leadership experience, and ability to work across practice groups.
