Leading international firm seeks an experienced finance partner to join its Hamburg office to develop and lead finance and banking work for German and cross-border clients. The role will involve advising on a broad range of financing transactions and supervising deal teams across debt finance matters.

The successful candidate will take a senior client-facing role, driving origination and acting as the local finance practice leader in Germany while working closely with global finance colleagues. A portable practice or demonstrable track record of originating finance work is desirable.

Established partner-level experience in finance and banking transactions, with demonstrable deal leadership.
Proven business development skills and ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Qualified/admitted to practise in Germany or equivalent EU qualification; strong knowledge of German finance market and regulations.
Fluent in German and English; excellent client-facing and team management skills.
